Call to succeed in business

Are you up to speed with the latest Xero Updates?

How many different software programmes do you think you use in a day? Probably more than you can count on two hands? It’s understandable that with this many different interfaces it can be somewhat stressful when they change or are updated.

If Xero is one of the systems you use, we’re here to help you understand the latest update so you can start reaping the benefits faster, and with less stress.

Easy to Use

The latest update from Xero is focused mainly on making the system easier for you to use, which is certainly a good thing! Xero have carried out a great deal of research into how their users interact with the platform in order to update it in a way that will allow for more efficient and enjoyable use of the system.

One of the key changes is that the business tools have been separated from the accounting tools. The various tools have also been arranged more logically, making it easier for you to find what you need. If you are looking for tools such as invoicing and expense claims, for example, then you will find them under the business section. Likewise, if you are looking for tools related to banking and accounting reports, you will now find these under the accounting section. It’s all designed to be far more intuitive, meaning it takes you less time to find what you need. Especially if you are a new user.

Two Step Security Authentication

Another key change is the introduction of two-step security authentication. This will help enhance your own personal security and it will become mandatory on a rolling basis between now and Friday 23rd November. Make sure that you are up to date to ensure you are making the most of the opportunity to keep your information safer than ever.

Take it For a Test-Drive

The full roll-out of these updates will occur in the last week of November. Since the 13th, however, you are be able to take it on a test-drive. This will help you to get familiar with the changes before the platform is updated. In the meantime, you can also read about the coming changes in more detail on the Xero website. Though the changes aren’t huge, we suggest getting up to speed as soon as you can to ensure a seamless transition to the new layout.
